Organisational Development and Change

We offer organisational development and change services to Corporates and to Small Medium Sized Enterprises.

Typically an OD program starts with one of our Climate Surveys which gives valid and reliable measures of factors such as leadership, supervision, recruitment and selection, safety, wellness, etc..  This allows us to target the change program to precisely where it is needed and where it will have the greatest positive impact on an organisation's bottom line.  For further information on our Climate Surveys follow the links on the right.

Two essential steps are required after conducting the Climate Survey.  First, we facilitate a change management workshop where action planning is initiated, and second we facilitate feeding back the Survey results and appropriate action plans to employees.

We also suggest that senior HR personnel and senior management receive training in Strategic Human Resource Management and how to Measure HR's contribution the organisation's effectiveness and bottom line results: this takes HR beyond simply "best practice" in HR.  This training also includes facilitation in the identification of the organisation's core value propositions and the key drivers of organisational success. The action plans identified in the change management workshop will include development initiatives for key individuals and teams.  Nexus facilitates these initiatives in three ways:

  • Coaching (both individual and group) is provided and typically would include Strategic Planning and Leadership Master classes, Team and Inter-Team Development Programs, Skills Development Programs (in, eg., communication, problem solving, reality testing, client focus, goal setting, etc.);

  • Development of and coaching in HR Best Practice in areas such as recruitment and selection, performance management, OH&S, EO, job design, training & development, reward and recognition, and so on;
